Work

Systems we built.
Numbers we can stand behind.

Four engagements, described by what was actually delivered. Client names are withheld — the work is not.

Land development · Mountain West, US

One board, 4,800+ opportunities, no duplicates.

The problem

Leads were arriving from five different directions with no single place to see them. Nobody could answer a simple question: how many live opportunities do we actually have?

What we built

We built the intake end to end — a landing page, an automated report that pulls live county parcel and zoning data for each enquiry, and a seven-stage CRM pipeline behind it.

Delivered

  • 4,800+ opportunities consolidated into one board
  • Every lead mapped to a stage by disposition
  • Automatic sync, matched by phone — no duplicate contacts
  • Live county parcel and zoning data on each enquiry

Acquisition team · multi-state

70,000+ records, sourced not resold.

The problem

The team was buying pre-packaged lists that five other companies had already called through. Contact rates were poor and nobody could tell which records were worth the dial time.

What we built

Sourced directly from county court filings, tax records and GIS portals instead of resold lists. Cleaned, deduped, skip-traced and delivered CRM-ready.

Delivered

  • 70,000+ records processed in a single project
  • Multi-state, multi-county pipelines run in parallel
  • Stacked records flagged where two distress signals overlapped
  • Files delivered import-ready — no reformatting before dialling

Outbound calling operation

A calling system that logs everything.

The problem

Calls were being made with no reliable record of what happened. Outcomes lived in people's heads, and the CRM was always out of date.

What we built

Built the calling pipeline from scratch: dialer, call logging, transcripts, disposition mapping and post-call routing back into the CRM.

Delivered

  • Every call logged with transcript and outcome
  • Dispositions mapped straight back to CRM stages
  • Voicemail, DNC and outcome controls configured before launch
  • Held in dry-run until the client gave an explicit go

Contracting businesses

From receipt backlog to books that reconcile.

The problem

Receipts piled up all year and year-end became a three-week emergency every time, with the CPA chasing missing documents.

What we built

Moved document capture to Dext and reviews to a monthly cycle in QuickBooks Online, with a defined handoff at year end.

Delivered

  • Documents captured as they arrive, not in a year-end scramble
  • Transactions reviewed on a monthly cycle
  • Books that reconcile
  • A clean, organised handoff to the CPA

Figures above are counts of work performed on delivered engagements. AS Ventures does not publish conversion rates or return figures, because those depend on the client's own sales process — not ours.

How we work

The same three rules on every engagement.

Compliance before scale

Controls are configured before the first send or the first dial — never retrofitted after something goes wrong.

Evidence, not assurances

Every engagement reports status, evidence, blockers and next actions. You should never have to ask how it is going.

Systems that outlive us

The work is documented so it keeps running whether or not we are in the room. No black boxes, no key-person risk.
